Zac Efron in Me and Orson Welles

Maybe this is the reason why Zac Efron declined to star in High School Musical 4. Zac Efron is starring in something new and challenging in his career with the upcoming romantic drama Me and Orson Welles. "Me and Orson Welles" tells the story of Richard Samuels, a seventeen-year-old teenager who gets the chance to make his big break when he is hired to star in Orson Welles' production of Julius Caesar. He then falls in love with a production assistant, and soon learns the horrible secret of show business. Zac Efron plays Richard Samuels. Check out the publicity photos for the film.




"Me and Orson Welles" is based on Robert Kaplow's novel of the same title. The film which is yet to have its release date will be screened at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival held from September 4 to 13. Lucky Canadians, they get to see this first!
