Before Robert Pattinson became a star in Twilight, he appeared in an indie film called "Little Ashes." Rob Pattinson plays the famous painter Salvador Dalí who, according to the art-house film “Little Ashes,” engaged in a homosexual relationship with poet Federico García Lorca (Javier Beltran), a fact disputed by Salvador Dalí in real life. And so in the movie, Robert Pattinson makes out with Javier Beltran. He also gets naked in a scene. In earlier interviews, Rob Pattinson described the Dali-Lorca affair as that of Bella and Edward saying, "In a lot of ways, the storyline is similar to ‘Twilight.’ It’s about two people who, for various different hangups and terrible insecurities, can’t in any way consummate their relationship." Okay..not getting there though.
